The location of Arendelle, the village where Elsa and Anna live, is actually a real place! Nærøyfjord is long narrow fjord in Norway. 2.  Town of Arendelle / Bryggen

Bryggen is a line of Hanseatic buildings in the harbor of Bergen, Norway which created the idea for the building structures in Arendelle. While the village of Bergen was founded in 1090, a Hanseatic league arrived around 1350… now I know what you’re thinking… Hana what? 3.  Elsa & Anna’s Castle / Akershus Fortress

While this castle may not be as elegant as Elsa and Anna’s, it serves as the concept for the exterior of their castle. The Akershus Fortress is a medieval castle that was built to protect Oslo, which is the capital of Norway.
