1. Masala Chai Tea
Become a chaiwallah (chai vendor) in minutes.
Ingredients
Masala:
- ¼ c black pepper
- ½ c ground cinnamon
- ½ c whole cardamom pods
- ½ c ground ginger
- ¼ c whole cloves
Masala Chai Tea (per 2 cups):
- 2 tsp black tea (or 2 tea bags
- 1 tsp masala
- 1 c boiling water
- 1 c milk
- 1 tea strainer that works with the teapot
Instructions
- For masala (spice mix): Mix all dry ingredients and store in an airtight container. This will yield 2 cups.
- In a saucepan heat up milk with masala. Be careful not boil and heat it up slowly. It will be ready once a “skin” forms at the top. Remove layer.
- While waiting on the milk, heat up the water to boiling point and then pour into teapot to steep the black tea. This is usually about 3 min when the milk is ready to be poured into the teapot.
- Note: Teapot needs a strainer to keep the leaves and spices within teapot.
- Serve and enjoy with a friend.

This fruit intense drink is great during the holidays.
Ingredients
- 8 c apple juice
- 8 oz (1 c) pineapple juice
- 1 c orange juice
- ½ c lemon juice
- ½ c sugar
- 12 cloves
- 3 cinnamon stricks (½ t ground)
Instructions
- Heat until sugar dissolves on stove or Crockpot.
- Serves 12 wonderful friends.

3. Mexican Hot Chocolate
Add some kick to your hot chocolate!
Ingredients
- ½ tsp chili powder
- ½ tsp ground cinnamon
- 1 Tbsp cocoa powder
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 stick cinnamon
- ½ can sweetened condensed milk
- 4 cups milk (whole milk is best)
Instructions
- Add to Crockpot on LOW for 2 hrs stirring every 30 minutes.
- Scoop up and sit in front of a fireplace with a good book.
